Fresh Start

Welcome to 2012, everybody! We hope you all had enjoyable holiday breaks; we know we were grateful for a little time to breathe and relax. This year is already looking to take us around the country a number of times, and we couldn’t be more excited. We feel like a kid who has been handed a bunch of stickers and told to put them wherever we want; which is to say, exactly like the children who were able to participate in this amazing installation:

More news from our side of the tracks soon…

Taste Victory with Nabisco!

Brian’s work shooting celebrity chef Guy Fieri in New York earlier this fall is now out, just in time to help everyone prepare for the NFL post-season!

Head on over to Nabisco’s Taste Victory website to see some images and check out some party-planning videos.

Guy Fieri

Brian had the pleasure of photographing Guy Fieri for Kraft Foods a few weeks ago. The print ads and video will all be released leading up to Super Bowl XLVI (sorry, Colts fans!). In the meantime, here are a couple behind-the-scenes shots!

Miss Quince

Brian shot for Procter & Gamble towards the end of the summer, and the ad is now out and about. The project was designed to illustrate the growth from little girl to young woman, and we think the resulting ad does a pretty good job of it:

Coast to Coast (continued)

As we mentioned previously, Brian was shooting in Boston as well as LA last week. Here are a few behind-the-scenes shots from the Boston portion:

Indoors, finally!

Hello!

Coast to Coast

Brian is working in LA and Boston this week, shooting for Reebok. Special thanks to Barbie at 3 Star Productions in LA and Nann at NLP Productions in NYC for pulling together awesome teams and making these productions sing!

Two Editorials

New issues of Chicago Magazine and St. Louis Magazine are on the stands now, both featuring Brian’s work.

Chicago Magazine’s Fall Theatre Preview opens with a portrait Brian took of up-and-coming stage actor Patrick Andrews (currently starring in the Goodman Theatre’s Red). Shot against the versatile chalkboard wall in our studio, we all enjoyed getting to work with a great young actor in an informal setting.

Meanwhile, St. Louis Magazine’s annual Fall Arts Preview issue also included their Fall Fashion spread, which Brian shot at the Ritz-Carlton in St. Louis. The images are beautiful and rich, which is how we hope everyone’s fall is!

P.S. – A behind-the-scenes video about Fall Fashion, featuring footage of the photo shoot, can be viewed here.

Brian had the opportunity to shoot the ads for the Goodman Theatre’s upcoming production of RED, and the Goodman assembled a behind-the-scenes look at the photo shoot. Check out the ad, and the video below it:

2011 IPA Awards: 1st Place!

We are excited and honored to announce that Brian has won 1st Place in the 2011 IPA Awards Professional Product Photography category for his work for Gatorade. Working with a great team from VML in Kansas City, Brian shot a series of athletes pushing themselves to the limits of their abilities, demonstrating passion, determination, intensity and grace – often at the same time.
